In Japan, this single musk melon costs 6000 yen, about $60 USD at the time this photo was taken.

Perhaps this explains the beauty of the Great Wall?

washlets

Gotta love Japanese toilets. The icons are self-explanatory, but some of the best features are the powerful deodorizer, flushing sound/music with adjustable volume, and controllable water pressure. At the highschool I used to teach at, there was also a function to blow dry your bottom after a few squirts from the bidet. Each trip to the loo leaves you feeling fresh and clean.

budda's foof

On the climb up Mt. Phu Si in Luang Prabang, blue signs point visitors to view the imprint of "Buddha's Foot." On a path just below the peak, instead we encounter Budda's golden foof.
